Hmm, bit of a mixed bag this hotel. Nove staff, pleasant enough but the whole set up is really for the German tour crowd. Staff mostly speak German and the service the Germans got was definitely a touch on the friendlier side. It's fine, different resorts cater to different crowds, but just to let any Brits that are going. The bar area is nice enough but not what you'd call comfy. It's not a place to hang out, even with the lovely view, it feels pretty municipal. I popped in to look at the buffet one night and it wasn't very appealing so I didn't bother. The rooms are pretty small and similar in style to a Premier Inn, the downside is that the drains smell so that's the first thing you notice upon entering your room. It's basically a mid-market hotel set in a very good location, which I would say is it's main selling point. Porto Cristo is lovely but quiet in March, lots of places still closed but enough open for a meal here and there. If they did self catered I'd probably stay here again just for the views, but that aside it's a pretty meh hotel. The outdoor pool wasn't in use at it was too cold apparently, even though I would have used it. The indoor 'pool' is a glorified jacuzzi, really not worth the bother of getting wet. So not a bad place as such (smelly drains aside), but can't say I would recommend it that highly.
